sry, nothin I know. The headset that comes with SOCOM allows a louder sound though...

When ur watching a movie, press trinagle and u can put the volume up to 2+. Thats only when your watching a UMD movie though. I hate the sound as well, its so soft. Thats the only hing i know.

get the ISOUND PSP PRO and there is a headphone jack on the side and that makes the volume a lot loader but its about the size of the psp

some types of headphones have their own volume controls... try using one of them.

do you mean the official sony psp headphones?
i found this too, and as i know there is no way to get round this
and after reading the manual the official psp headphones have a volume limiter for safety's sake- e.g traffic, road safety and overall protection of your ears

it sucks i know...

just use the first connector piece (one with circle toy thing on it) and put some good headphones on it.
