Just ruined my second PSP? In dire need of help!
So I ordered the external memory stick reader on Thursday, and had just finally received it. I hooked it up to the PC and started making a magic memory stick (with little hope as I was convinced I killed the battery anyway). I went through the whole process, the lights were flashing just like the tutorials said, and... nothing. Still a black screen.
I almost gave up hope, but then I thought I'd try an alternative MMS method. So I reformat the memory card, do it all again, and upon removing my the Pandora battery I made in the process (which, again, I was sure was fucked up beyond repair), I figured I might as well go over the removed pin's line with a graphite pencil. I put the battery back in, and... black screen. Oh well, I tried, I figured.
...and then I accidentally press the diagonal arrows and I hear the familiar menu navigation sound. I press the screen brightness button and... I witness a smooth, unbricked PSP. Never in a million years did I think I'd be able to fix it on my own, what with my complete cluelessness in the subject and the many obstacles in the way.
I owe it to you guys, especially xavis75211. Thank you so much! You just saved me a lot of time and money and made me one happy person.
