Default Won't go foward

Analog stick problem, can't move foward or up. When I put it in sleep mode and turn it back on it works fine but for just a min or so.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to mine..the rubber contact is worn out that connects the analog to the motherboard.

I had this same thing happen to a psp before, but it was up and left, I took it apart and replaced the worn down "pads" I guess you'd call them, worked fine after that.
