Friends PSP is it hackable ?

his screen is dead (cracked) so he cant use any wya to tell or chicken Hen it let alone know i fit has 5.03 atm,

but the serial # under the battery starts w/ HUD5
the barcode starts w/ AB005 ( can reveil in PM if nee dbe full serial # / Barcode #)

its used so doesnt have a retail box just the crapass generic gamestop one.

come november i'll be w/ him at a con o then i can tell directly if possible or not.
he's looking into a TV out cable for now so if he got one before nov 20th (date of the con him and i are going to,) is it possible to do it all via TV Out?

wats the point if he cant see the psps screen?

i guess, tv out does work in the xmb, just have to re enable it over and over.

he does know how to enable it without the screen?

hes going to be getting a replacement screen when he can thats the point.

no. though i still have my other buds Slim that im just waiting on $$ to clear thru paypal to ship it back. to help him sound by sound guide him thru it. (he still gets sounds when powered on/m,ove thru menus so its not bricked but plain dead screen)
