memory stick not recognized by psp or computer

I have a issue with my memory stick not being recognized by my computer. It was working fine untill yesterday. When i put it in the psp the red lite just flashes really fast then slows down to blinking ever few seconds. I have tried to format it but my psp will not recognize it even has a memory stick in it. When i plug the psp into the computer i get the same result. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? Thanks

same thing happened to me, the boot sector fucked, google a program called killdisk, download it and run it with admin rights, and kill the disk and it will fix it

Well i found that program. The Program doesnt recognize the memory card either. So it will not give me the option to kill the disk to start over. I will keep messing around with it. Any other help or insight would be greatly appreciated. This is a original 16 gb sony stick. Thanks

you have to run it with admin rights so it can regnize the drive reader, then you click on the drive letter of the reader and click kill, it will work
