pandora battery not chargin? wierd problem!!!
So I just bought a pandora battery from the psp mod shop. I go to put it in and the battery doesnt fit right, like its loose or something. I held it in place and tried to put in the MMS that I got from the shop too, nothing happened, no lights nothing. So then I thought that the battery wasnt charged, so i plugged it in and within 5 mins the orange light when off. Then I took out the battery, plugged in the a/c adapter, turned it on, and played some music. The orange light was on and the battery indicator on the screen was showing. I checked the system information>> battery information and everything show up as "-" except power source, which said external. However within 5 min the whole psp shut down and the charge light went off. I then tried to plug it in again and again and it seems like it charges for a shorter and shorter amount of time. At one point the orange light was on for 5 sec and it went out. My normal battery charges just fine with it so im not sure whats wrong. Is it that the pandora battery is dead, or is there another trick to get it to work.
My psp is a phat running OFW 3.95, both the pandora battery and the MMS were bought from the pspmod shop. any ideas would be greatly appreciated! |

Who cares if it charges, really? As long as it boots up the PSP, that's all you need it to do. Does it at least do that?
Once it's booted you can plug in the AC power, remove the battery, and then flash the custom firmware.

Not to bash but my advice is hate pspmod.com store merchandise, this exact thing has happened to my panbattery from here as well as my friends panbattery, also from here. They just die eventually (although my experience says they die after 1 use lol) so i suggest chickHEN method as long as you arent over 5.03 i believe... |
