op, depends, if custom firmware extender works on 5.50 you can use remote joy lite(pain in the ^^^, and crashes sometimes)

i know for a fact theres an irshell for 5.50, so you can use that. guide in my sig

File Details-RemoteJoyLite-v0.20a-PSP-Homebrew-Applications - install the plugin as you would a normal one (note when you install the plugin you must either put it in the vsh.txt or game.txt not both) then attach a usb cable to your psp, and now comes the sorta hard part when remotejoy starts your computer will say found new hardware, CLICK FIND DEVICE DRIVER ON YOUR COMPUTER NOT ON THE NET, then go to the downloaded remotejoy folder and select the .dll file, then start the remotejoy.exe and dadadaa you did it remotejoy

the plugin could be a compatibility issue, try going to GEN-B2 or D2
