Question about using adapter & 2x 16g sticks.
I'm using 5.00 M33-6 now. My question is as follow:
Will i have to re-install the M33 firmware when installing either a single 16 gig stick or by installing two 16 gig sticks by using an adapter?
Clearly the new sticks i buy will have no folders on them or nothing. Do i just have to copy the folder structure of my old stick and apply it to the new?
I'm realy unsure how this works. If someone could explain the process one has to go through after buying fresh sticks, i'd realy appreciate it.
Very greatful for what help i can get. |

Yes all you have to do is copy them(After you format the SD cards on PSP of course).Only thing you may have to do other then that is if your using Pandora as a regular battery use PSP Grader V008 to install the TimeMachine IPL to MS Boot Sector.Ignore that last part if your not.

Question about using adapter & 2x 16g sticks.
I'm not using pandora, do you by any chance use two sticks and an adapter?
If so, i'd like to get a guide to get them working step by step.
But as far as i understand it should be something like this (correct me if i'm wrong)
1. Take backup of folder and file structure of old stick.
2. Put the two sticks into the adapter, then into the PSP. Format them both at the same time using only the PSP formater.
3. Apply the content (folders/files) that were backup'd to the new sticks.
Would this be the correct way to do it or is there anything else that has to be done.
Thanks for reply! |

If it is the CR-5400 then do what the package says for 2 SD cards.Format one of them in slot 1 then format the other in slot 1.Keep in mind if you remove one of the sticks after writing data to it it WILL be corrupt.So this means if you have both in and decide you need a new SD card for you phone or whatever you cant just take it out of the adapter because the other SD card will become corrupt..

Alright thanks, yeah this is the CR-5400 adapter. My PSP is a 1003, will that change things? |

Question about using adapter & 2x 16g sticks.
3100 = SD cards
5400 = MicroSD cards
Sorry, I was just a tad confused as to which adapter we were talking about.
And no, all 100X series PSPs are the same, except for the region (last number), which doesn't matter anyway.
