Datel battery wont charge

Hi. i have a PSP 2001 with OFW 6.10
i want a CFW so i have buy a Datel Battery Tool ( the red one )
so i put the datel battery on my psp with the ac adaptor but the battery dont charge
the green light comes but the flashing battery dont appear
and when i unplug the AC Adaptor the PSP shut down
i have buy this battery from Divineo ( new stuff store)

chances are it's a bum battery, i have ordered from divineo myself so just contact them and get a exchange

well you already spent the money on the datel, and as i said from my own experiance there very good on returns of defective items.
so give that a shot first befor you drop 30 or so on a new sony
also there is no garentee that the sony battery you get can be made a pandora.

it's just a pandora battery, just hard coded to always be a pandora

that might work, but why you so intent on spending more money. just contact them and say this battery is a dud and send it back
get a new one first
if that don't work then try somethin else

Actually, there maybe nothing wrong. The other day i used my red datel tool battery to hack my friends psp. I didnt know how much charge it had to i put it in the PSP and started the charge. The level didnt come up but it worked fine. The orange "charge" light did come on. I think the problem is the PSP doesnt see the pandora battery as a battery, so it doesnt officially charge or "see" the levels. Although im sure it really is charging. If you psp turns into service mode, then no need to swap :-) It works, its fine lol

ok .. I let the battery charge overnight and the next day I unplug the charger and the PSP turn off automatically
my PSP dont find the battery at all
maybe my PSP is unhackable
