I downloaded Super Mario bros iceland homebrew from this website. It was a .rar file so I downloaded WinRar and extracted the files. There Was 2 files(Smb iceland and Smb iceland%) and a ReadMe. The ReadMe said to put the 2 folders in my psp game folder, which i did. I unhooked my psp from the computer and went to the games. It showed me the Super Mario Iceland icon and below it a corrupted Data file. I tried both of them and they both said "This game cannot be started The Data is corrupted." Please help Me!
(My psp version is 4.05.)

Clearly not. You need custom firmware or Official firmware 1.0 and 1.50 to run unsigned code, ie homebrew.

you would also need a psp phat for super mario bros iceland as i do believe its for 1.50 and only phats get the 1.50 addon kernal.on slims it doesnt work

Isn't there that time machine program? Having a phat i wouldn't know, but i thought that was the 1.50 solution for slims?

there was a time machine yes.ive never personally used that nor do i know if its firmware specific.meaning once your on a certain firmware it doesnt work.as far as i know it hasnt been updated since the dark ages after all

I don't have a slim. but I thought you needed 3.90m33-2 or greater to operate the time machine.

I had the same problem wit da game...my ver is 3.71m33-2(slim)...i have 1.50 kernel add-on..still doesnt work..

The 1.50 kernel does not work/is not compatible with slims. That's why it doesn't work.

u need time machine for those to work on slim.....
1.5 kernel aint compatible on slim...
