help with homebrews

ive looked it up but still have no idea how to get the damn homebrews on my psp. more specifically i just moded my psp and am running 5.50 gen b most of the ones i have installed are corrupt data. i put them in X: Psp/games and theyre most corrupt data. i was trying to get then psp revolution on there but its corrupt data. do i need to downgrade? plz help

ummm........ you kno i never tried any of the GEN A or B's, i just have m33, idk homebrews should work,
