I just got finished downgrading my psp 2.80 to a 1.50 and tryed to start up my snes emulator. When I tryed to start it an error message popped up saying the game could not be started. Is this normal or should all homebrew start without problems in 1.5? I used the Hen program to downgrade and the x.y.z downgrader to go to 1.5. Please tell me what I did wrong, if anything, and what I can do to play homebrew. thanks

For 1.50 hombrew you need two folders for example if you had SNES you would also need another folder named SNES%. This two folder exploit for the 1.50 is rarely used now as nobody uses 1.50 anymore, so my suggestion is for you to upgrade to custom firmware with the 1.50 kernel add-on and you wouldn't have to worry about the kxploit homebrew and such.

Do you have to have pandora's battery to install a custom firmware or is it just a simple mod? I tryed downloading a couple of them but the same error message appears with the # 80020001 when I try to open the installation file. I also tryed the two folder trick but still nothing is happening. Do I need to place anything in the folder with the % sign? Any info would be appreciated.

You got 1.50 you dont need pandora to get custom firmware. Use this guide to get to a custom firmware of your choice read carefully. http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-fir...tallation.html

5 - PSP 1.5 and still wont play homebrew? 5 - PSP 1.5 and still wont play homebrew?

Thanks for all the info but I got one more question before I get started. Where it says

"3 - Download official 3.52 eboot (qj.net), rename it to 352.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/""

Could I substitue the 3.52 eboot file with the 3.99 eboot file to avoid having to update again?
