I''ve recently been on an emu tear the past couple of days and I've run into a bit of a problem with the MAME emu. This is probably a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. Is it at all possible to run roms that are not on the rom list that comes equipped with the emu? Like say Ridge Racer, or Soul Caliber? The current emu I'm using is pspmame096r03. I have 1.5 firmware, so I used Seipsptool, created a sub folder labeled "ROMS", and put the zipped roms in there, capcom for capcom emu and namco for namco emu. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just not possible? And if not, is anyone working on an emu where newer MAME roms are workable? Any help would be much appreciated.

probably putting them into sub directories made them unacessable.
or your mame cant read zipped roms.

I've tryed sub directories, and I've tryed placing them directly in the game folder, zipped and unzipped...... and still nothing. I'm pretty sure the problem is you can only play certain roms. Damn, I just wanna play Soul Caliber.

Hmmmm I didn't know there was a PSP MAME Emulator out. I got to see that list of games it supports and better yet, I got to see if it works on 2.5
