Heya guys Getting my PsP tommrow

Guy guys as the title reads im getting my Psp tomorrow... I am wondering should I buy the used or new version from Gamestop? because the used has a chance of being old... meaning older firmware and the new ones have the chance of being upgraded to a non downgradable firm ware and to my understanding this means no goodies for me...

i found a used 1.5 at eb games and they were cool adout me going through all the used models to check fw and i got a year warranty for 20 bucks paid 160 for everything plus a 1 gig card
