    Hello all,

I'm soon to be a PSP owner. After doing waay to much reading on this new toy, I'm thinking about buying a modded PSP. There is a local guy who mods PSP to 1.5; they are unused and only opened to do the mod. He guarantees the work and will also do the work while you wait if you bring in your own PSP, and will do free upgrades everyone a new firmware comes out. So does this sound like it's worth it for $30 extra dollars. Plus he will show me how to use it and load emulators and games.

Also, I need to buy a memory stick. I've seen the thread on where to buy, but have one question. What's the difference (if any) between the Sansdisk 2gb card and their 2 gb gaming card? Similar price but I couldn't find detailed spec on each to know what the difference is.

Thanks for your help. I just an old dog (we're talking Atari and C64) trying to learn new tricks.

Don't buy a modded one!! It ruins the fun... you should buy one @ 1.5 and mod it urself!

It sounds cool, I've seen ads on ebay, and craigslist... "Send me $ and your psp and I'll mod it for you... plus I'll throw in a CDR full of roms..."

But like Max said, that just takes the fun out of your very own custom PSP...

I just figure it out and try and try again... It's a part of this diverse culture...
your doing something you shouldn't but the reward is so much better... If you screw up your punch'n holes in the walls... then when you find out how to fix it, your so happy its like your high on drugs...

So if your 100% sure you can't mod it yourself then I guess go ahead and have the other guy do it... I'll just look apon you as a diet version of a psp modder... only 1%. lol
    Refresh for more Sigs

You get to learn how to do it, so you're more at ease when you want to use anything else homebrew, or customize. Plus, you'll never get to experience that "OMG, I did it!!" feeling...
