I've been reading this site up and down for a week now. I'm a newB. Not really a gamer but my wife bought me the a PSP for my birthday, and I'm digging it. I have a 1.51, a couple of UMD movies streetball V2, and a bunch of music on my 512MB Scandisk. I like the idea of a web browser, so I'm thinking about upgrading to 2.0. I head I could use the PSP as a universal remote for all of my eletronics, but I'm not sure if I need to upgrad for that or what.

Welcome to the forums......you need to have a 1.00 or 1.50 to use your psp as a universal remote for SONY products
