    Hi just popping in to say hi and what a great forum you have.Just bought a PSP 1.5 and well im totally lost on what to do,I bought a game and that didn't work as its V 1.5 >< and im just looking for a bit of general help.If anyone would care to point me in the correct way that would be great,Id love to be able to do what you guys and gals are doing.So any help will be much appreciated as i still havn't played a single game on it yet

    Well if I were you I would think hard about whether you want to update and play a game, or if you want to do custom firmware. Most of us will tell you that it was not a hard decision to go custom. So much more possibilities. If you want to go custom firmware, search the forums for custom upgrade.     Check out the firmware section, then custom firmware. You'll find a thread of two on how to upgrade to firmware 3.03 OE-C.

    That will let you play every game that's out right now (I'm pretty sure on this...), as well as letting you run any homebrew (homemade games) you want. You can change the icons on your cross media bar. Custom firmware is the shit.

    i would say go for custom firmware and youll see how wonderful it is to have it....enjoy here and just dont forget to use search button in modding your psp.everythings here....
