Hello all,

Im Steve from Liverpool, UK.

Looking for some help already. A friend put the 3.40 OE-A firmware on my psp last night but I can't seem to get any downloaded games to work.

Some come as a umd.bin data file along with the PSPGAME folder, and other as CSO files.

My mate told me to put them in the PSP folder. I have tried putting them in various places in the folder but the PSP just will not pick them up. I've tried about 4 different games now with no success.

Does anyone know where I might be going wrong or have an idiots guide to playing downloaded games?

Hello Steve, welcome to PSPMOD!

England is nice, I lived there for a little over a year and miss it a lot.

Not sure you are going to get much of a response from this forum as the Mods and most members are touchy when the words "downloaded games" come up as there are so few places to legally download games and if it's not from a legal source it is considered an illegal download and sometimes piracy.

What legal source are you downloading your games from and that will better help us to answer your questions.

To be honest, Im not really sure of the legality of it.

I paid to register for a site called psp blender but i don't know if its legal or not? Probably not in this day and age.

What legal sites are there?

I wish I could help you there but I haven't subscribed to any downloading sites so I don't know which ones are legal and which ones aren't.

I use Gamefly over here in the states. They might have something similar over there.

Blender is a scam site, so don't use it man. Julie made a thread on this in the Scams section...
And downloading ISOs are illegal man. Don't do it.

Noobs ...gotta luv em. Man you have said all of the wrong things but that's ok. We grow and learn, PSP Blender is a ripoff, and this not the place to talk of DL games, there are a lot of homebrew game that you can get for free and some are not to bad. Get yourself a Gamefly account at gamefly.com or save to buy the games you want, other than that welcome to the forum
