Default Complete N00b!

hey there! i am a total n00b when it comes to PSP`s but hey, you gotta start somewhere. would just like to say hi and ask for a little help too

i got my psp for xmas and understand to play ISO games i need to upgrade from the 3.40 FW i have at the moment to 3.52 m33-4 FW. when i try to upgrade after putting the m33 creator file into the game folder, i get the 80020148 error saying the game cant be started.

if anyone could help me sort this out i would be very grateful.

thank you.

so what are you trying to update to 3.71m33 if you are then you need the 3.71m33 files and then the sony firmware 3.71. then rename the sony 3.71 firmware to 371.PBP and then put it with with the m33 files in the UPDATE folder that put the whole UPDATE folder in GAME and then load it up on your psp and remember battery has to be charged over 75%!!!

err wtf? I think he has official firmware 3.40 . If you do mate, you need to either get hold of an unpatched copy of Lumines to downgrade (first upgrad to 3.5) (pm me if u want it) or get hold of a pandoras battery which can unbrick and downgrade any psp firmware. Once you are at 1.5 due to either the lumines exploit or the pandoras battery you can then upgrade to 3.52 M33-4.

DON'T upgrae past 3.5 offical firmware because you then need a pandoras battery
