snes 9x not starting, need help please
Hi all, I'm currently running 3.6 firmware and trying to run Snes9xTYL 0.4.2 ME for PSP Slim. The game starts like any other PSP game, with the PSP logo, the screen goes black for a while and then an error message "This game could not be started" shows up.
I'm very new to this whole emulator for the PSP thing, so, I'm not that much of a technical person. Some help or advice in the matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! |

I don't know about the m33 at the end xP, it just says system software version 3.60. I have the emulator in PSP/GAME/SNES9X | |

you cant run emulators on official firmware only on custom firmware or on firmware 1.5 but slims cant go to firmware 1.5

You're not screwed. You just need to upgrade to CF. Then you can use any emulator you want.

Dumb question alert... how do i do that? Please, I apologize for my lack of technical expertize in advance... ^^;;
EDIT: Ok, I've downloaded and put the 3.71 M33-2 in the PSP/GAME/UPGRADE folder, but the same thing keeps happening. It just says that the game could not be started...

You make a Pandoras Battery and MMS. Take a look around the forums on how to do that.

unfortunately, installing that is an entirely different issue...

You can always buy one pre-made or have someone mod your battery for you. If you need a battery or just need one modded send me a PM.
