Hello everyone, just wanted to stop in and say hi!

I've had a psp for a year or so and im just now realizing all the things that you can do with it. Right now, it has frimware version 2.71, but I'm going to do some searches to find out what I need to do to be able to run a custom firmware.

I hate all of you, he doesn't need pandora's battery or lumines, damn new psp modders.

Find out what motherboard you have, then you can downgrade WITHOUT any game or buying anything..

    http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-har...-you-have.html

When you find out what motherboard you have, you use the correct downgrader:

For non-ta082 psp, use the generic 2.71 downgrader
For ta-082 psp, use the easy ta-082 2.71 downgrader

    Thanks for the help!

The code on my motherboard is IC1003 so I have a TA-082 motherboard, so when my psp gets charged up, I'll try using the easy ta-082 2.71 downgrader.

CanadianBacon, I've read this tutorial (the one you posted) as well as others regarding the TA-082 IC1003 motherboard, but they're all dated al the way from early 2006 to mid 2007.

My question is- Can I use the Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick method (now a days) on the TA-082 IC1003 mobo? I use "Total Noob Easy Installer" to make the memory stick.

    EDIT: I successfully modded a PSP with the TA-082 IC1003 motherboard with Pandora Battery. I installed 3.90 M33-2 with the 1.50 Add-On...
