    Greetings all.

I acquired this PSP from my son's friend with a smashed screen. Replacing that was easy.

So I'm thinking that the 802.11x would be useful if it had some tools. At worst I'd use it for an MP3 player. Then I start reading about all of this modding and firmware downgrades. Done the Pandora trick on a 2200 mAh battery, though it wouldn't boot properly afterwards.

The current Firmware is 3.91 and the board is a TA-081, I (foolishly) upgraded it from 2.81.

Can someone lead me in a direction to making it more useful than just as a toy? I'd love to run some homebrew apps. It seems that this firmware rev. may not be possible.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

well you made the pandora thats nice... if it doesnt work right try charging it. if it still isnt working right it was a mistake during the modding process. you can always buy a datel TOOL battery. check around

now all you need is a magic memory stick. read up on that and you can start from there
