Hey guys, I have been a psp owner since April of 2005 but I havent really been able to use it much due to my lack of funds after dishing out the money for the system. After christmas though, I should have a pretty good library of games and plus my cousin is getting one too so I should have some fun in store for the new year.

If you bought it an April there is actually quite a lot you can do without owning any games! Its called hombrew and it includes home made programs + emulators for all ur favorite old systems like NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. And you can do this all with the 32mb stick that ur psp came with. The important thing is to see if you have 1.5 or 2.0. If you do, then you can do all these things. I have been reading and attempting to understand that FAQ all afternoon. I have vesion 2.0 right now so I was attempting to downgrade to 1.5 but Norton keeps on deleting files and I dont know if it would work anyways because I downloaded the japanese version of the update because it released before the north american one. Any help is much appreciated.

get which ever 1.5 Eboot u need..if you got a US psp gets the US 1.5 eboot. And the reason Norton keeps deleting them is because it detects it atas a virus. It's NOT. Go ahead and switch Norton off during this process..just don't do anything dumb do this with NO RUSH
