Hello! And some questions. (Already?!)

Hey,

I am going to get a PSP from my fiancee for christmas. I still do not know what version to get. I am guessing that it will be a 2.01 from Best Buy (since she works there)

My big question is:

I am kinda clueless when it comes to modding the PSP. I am not new to modding though, I mod Moto Razrs mostly and other types of phones, as well as XBOXs and GCs. My question is, is there anyone out there that can give me a walkthrough to the basics of modding a PSP?

And what is the difference between the versions and the firmware. Which is better and what can give you what over what. I will stay active here cause I have already seen some cool stuff. If you can give me some pointers, that would be awesome.

i HIGHLY recommend u read through that whole thread
And there really isn't a walkthrough for modding a psp..theres any ways..be more specific
And BTW TRY not to get 2.1 if you're into modding your PSP..try to get 2.0 and below
