I'm a forum junkie and I'm going to be getting a PSP tomorrow so I thought I'd join you all and say hello.

Here's my deal. I have wireless at work but can't get away with bringing in a laptop. I'm looking to be able to browse forums (and post hopefully), and play backed up movies and games. I'm told I'll need the big one to do this modding.

Am I safe getting the slim tomorrow?

Sorry for asking for help without contributing anything yet, but I will!

I'm still trying to find my way around here.

The websites are limited on the PSP..some work and some wont..trial and error mostly. Yes your safe getting it...what kinda question is that anyways..

I suggest a 4gig stick, or 8, etc etc. 4gigs are relatively cheap these days. Get a couple if you can afford it, can never have to much space, especially if the price is right! Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy your PSP which Im sure you will. Once you figure it out and once your brave enough to downgrade its gonna open doors you never thought possible on a handheld. Good luck!
