i dont think asking for mod or admin will get you that, now that you have asked, the mods and admins will have one reason not to make you one in the future, if you ever want to be a mod or admin on any forum or site, you either have to be expeiranced in scriptng languages depending on the site type, or in this case, come on every day, never be an idiot, dont double post, dont ask a question that was ask in another thread, and so on, just obey the rules and such, and in the future, if they need mods, you might just be in a selection =P

anyways... welcome to forums.
the only times ive become admin right when i come to a new site is cuase they need some one who can script or can animate, and thats becuase im good at what i do... and other times, their a new site or game server and need some one to mod or admin their site or game server to keep things under control.
