Ive just got a psp slim, i trade my ds and a couple of games for it.
So if you guys can help me out with the firmware upgrades and any other general awesomness id be really grateful.

its got firmware 3.71 on it... apart from that ive no idea hehe

Welcome to the Site.

Any firmware above 3.50 will need a pandora battery and magic memory stick to downgrade. If you check out the guides theres explanation and tutorials on how to make them.

Some companies also sell pandoras batteries to save you doing the making.

Yes you have to downgrade it if its a slim psp no matter what, i think its any version below 3.50 that can be softmodded any higher requires the Pandora
