Question newbie...and oh so confused

Hello all,
I have just been given a brand new PSP slim and immediately googled PSP and found this site.

After having read some of the threads I am so confused about mods and the like, i am not sure what to do.

I would dearly love to get some guidance on and if i should do anything or what the mods will acheive.

I am not sure i understand what bricking/Unbricking is.... ETC.

Please help.

Machu

please check out this site
PSP Hacking Guide | Blast Processing

there is a fair amount of reading to do... but i suggest buying a new battery and a new memory stick (a small one like 512mb or 1gb)

and follow that site... if you need anything else then just ask

oh and bricking means that you have basically screwed ur PSP.. unbricking can often be done with a pandora battery which u will find out about if you read that guide i gave u

good luck

For starters you'll need a magic memory stick. I made one with with a 256MB Sony memory card and it works perfect, try to google this as they wont let me post URL's here yet, Pandora Universal Downgrader Easy Installer or try PSP totall newbie installer

The chat room at the beginning of the site will help alot, many people are online and could answer your questions. If you go on at various times you could always find different people.
