Brand Newbie :P Q about my new hardware

Just used points on AMEX to buy a PSP (all point redemptions are 30% cheaper through Sep 2 so go shopping) and wanted to make sure the one I bought will be able to be modded...

"Sony Playstation Portable 98510 PSP Slim Core Portable Game System" is how it is listed on the AMEX site for $169.99/23,800 points so I am assuming this is the unit on Amazon.com: <check next line>
