Hey, welcome to the site...

If you want to run homebrew games and applications on your psp you'll need custom firmware (cfw). If so, look at the guide in my signature (sig), it'll explain a lot and get you cfe 4.01 M33-2, its the latest cfw.

Any other questions? Just ask, theres a lot of knowledgable peeps here to help you along the way...
