Exclamation Helllpppp!!!!!!!

hey everyone im a noob at the psp. i just got a psp fat about 2 months ago and it has the standard sony firmware 3.95 and i heard there was a way to download a modded cfw to play games off the memory stick but i havent found any clear instructions on how to mod my psp to custom firmware 4.0 m33 i have it downloaded to my comp but i would appreciate a step by step walkthrough on how to do it so i dont f my psp up. any help would be greatly appreciated. ty

well, you cant just download it....u need a pandora battery and a magic memstick in order to get custom firmware on your psp....to find out how to make these things just go to the guides section or use the first two links in my signiture below

use that if you have a friend with custom firmware.. he has to do it though..
or the one in my sig (first one) if you want to do it yourself..

ok but as i said i am already running standard firmware 3.95 on a psp fat. i have a 2 gig sony memory stick and a standard psp battery. i dont need to buy anything extra to mod it do i? or do i just mod the stuff i already have . im lost sorry lol

nope, just follow the guide(s)
the only thing you will need is a knife to open up your battery
(if you have a friend with custom firmware you can avoid that by using the first link provided)

ok quick question so when i bend the pin up on my battery do i just leave it bent up or do i gently bend it over to touch the contact next to it the pic isnt very clear on that. after that i should be good to go hopefully

ok now i got my battery open but it dont look like any of the circuit boards in any of the pics. it is a actual sony 3.6v 1800 mAh but it only has a little circuit board in it not like any of the pics iv'e seen

alright, is the curcuit board on the top of the battery and are there just two chips, a big and a small one that are right next to each other?

yeah but now that the battery is open it wont work. i went to put the battery in with the front half of the battery off and it wont work i havent messed with anything yet. what do i do?
