I've had my psp for almost 2 years now and have never used it much. I always thought about modding it but never felt like going through the trouble and possibly bricking my psp. I recently bought God of War and since then I have been back into the system but know if i don't mod my interest will fade away quickly.
I studied up online and found a lot out but still have number of questions and concerns but I'll start with the main and work from there. I am running firmware 3.51 and motherboard TA-082 on one of the original fat psps. Reading, I found that there seems to be trouble downgrading with this motherboard but could not find any definitive descriptions of said problems/solutions. Also, I have read in multiple places that the God of War UMD does not seem to want to play on custom firmware, is this true? Any help would be much appreciated.

i think that the newest psp (god of war the blue one) are not hackable but some of them are or something like that
