    Mod PSP for:
    1. Ability to run ISO/CSO (ripped UMD games) from your memory stick.
    2. Play homebrew such as PSPHalo..etc... <- Awesome.
    3. Emulate a large selection of consoles. (SNES,NES,GB,GBA,SEGA,MAME..)
    4. Complete software customization of your PSP.

    Those are my reasons.
    Risks in modding your PSP:
    1. None.
    2. None.
    3. None.

Welcome to pspmod , make sure to check the guides section, and read it carefully and understand it, then you should have no problems
    PSP Timeline: 3.72 OFW > 3.93 OFW > Pandora > 3.80 m33-5 > 5.00 m33-3 > 5.00 m33-4 > 5.00 m33-6

Cool thanx. Im going to research more. What about movies? Like dvds I own. Any way to "disect" the movie and put clips on my psp? I want to put as an example skate video parts on there.

You can use a DVD Ripper to obtain the image of what's on the disc, then use a program to convert it to PSP format.

Also, there are like 1 or 2 things that are bad for using CFW:
    • Your warranty is voided.
    • You can brick, rendering your PSP useless.
    • It makes it a lot more worth stealing.
    • You end up downloading a lot of shit.

    Yeah, those are the cons.

Btw, even on official firmware, you can still backup your DVD and play it on your PSP...
