I'm finally gonna hack my PSP I've had since the xmas the fat came out in the UK. I bought a few games and then it went in my attic for a couple of years. What was I thinking... Well I thought It would be impossible for ME to hack it and I lost interest. I was pretty bummed that there was only one analog stick and I was into shoot em ups at the time and so I got into PC games instead. But then I got a PS3 and eventually visited the attic to dust off my PSP and see what PSP-PS3 linking was like. Well of course it up-dated the OFW to 5.02.

For the past month I've been doing a bit of research on the net (youtube and forums) and downloading. Now I'm beginning to get a bit familiar with the basics.

My hardwares's in the post and I was hoping to get some help so I can get a running start when It arrives. I'm interested in hacking my PSP to death with all the homebrews, emulators and games. But first things first.

So... I've got a fat with OFW 5.02.

Q1. What is the best cfw to have for doing everything?

Q2. Do I need cfw 5.03 to hack or can I use any?

    Q3. Why do hackers downgrade?

Q4. What's the best way of making a MMS?

Q5. What homebrews do you recommend?

Q6. Does installing different CFW require different methods?

Sorry if I've gone a bit overboard.

Look forward to hearing from you guys.

    PEACE

4.http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-sof...-xp-vista.html .... follow this guide to install CFW it has both of the newest CFW on the guide

Thanks mate. I buzzing. Didn't know about halo, That's awesome! Does the 1.50 kernal come with the CFW or do you install seperately. Also does it save to the flash or am I going to have to put it on all my memory stick? Lame questions I know. Thanks again dude
