    lo all,

have had a modded DS for about a year or so and since the PSP hacking scene seems to have matured my fingers are getting itchy. something about hacking systems once they pass their market peak (if the PSP hasn't, don't bother correcting me, it's not a big deal), is real interesting for me. I like saving things and having an appliance that doesn't depend on a dated, proprietary system for years after that system has itself collapsed or passed on in the meantime (like poor windows fans who are forced to buy the next once after support dies for the current).

anyway enough soapboxin'. I wanna tinker with a PSP so ima read some stickys and maybe ask some questions later.

yeah, I'm running kbuntu. I used to run windows, then windows+linux, then finally I said "f*** this it costs time and money and I can't tear everything out from under the hood" and deleted windows.

Most command-line windows apps can be run through wine compatibility layer, even NDS rom trimmers so I don't usually sweat it.

    GENTLEMEN! BEHOLD!

I have successfully followed a few awesome guides, ordered a pandora battery, updated, and have completed my CFW! All without asking wacky questions over and over!

    It is possible!
