    Hej everybody,

I'm new to everything around PSP, but I'm strongly considering buying one at the moment.
I have my eye on the 3000 series, but I've heard about the whole 'hacking-problem' around the 3000.
I hope there will be a break-through on this item soon, as does everyone else...
I am planning on selling my gamecube with 2 controllers and 6 games to get some money, but I've no idea how much I can ask for it.
I would like to know if there's anyong who would advice me to go for the 2000-series rather then the 3000.
I hope someone will react to this

ps. Excuse me if my English isn't flawless but English isn't my first-language as I'm from the Netherlands.

it is...well they used to be but you'll be lucky to find an old slim like god of war or starwars but dont get a plain black slim, they cant get hacked and the 3000 cant get hacked either so basically dont get a psp with firmware 4.01 or above just get a phat psp

okay so that's not something to worry about either?
I think that I'll go for the slim & lite, i mean except the 'improved' screen, and the microphone, it doesn't had any new functies, does it? i mean all the other stuff you could already do with the slim & lite too right?
it is a lot cheaper... but wasn't there something about the newest slim & lite that are also 'unhackable' ? (I do think I'll buy a used one)

i bought a psp 3000 recently and i love it. im just gonna sit tight and wait for a breakthrough hacker to tell us what to do. if your new to psp i would reccomend jumping right into modding, so i would just buy a psp 3000. up to you though
