I would like to purchase the pandora and magic memory from the psp-mod store. But the official description is:

    Compatability Chart

    · PSP Fat / 1000 All versions supported
    · PSP Slim / 2000 Firmware versions up to 3.95 supported, Versions 4.01 onwards not supported

I need it for an updated (5.03) psp 2000. Does that mean I cannot use them? Is that still the case? Or were there some breakthrough so that I can also use them for a psp 2000 with 5.03?

I wouldnt advise buying an mms from the mod shop, and about the 4.01 thing it means that if your psp came with 4.01 it most likely has the unhackable motherboard so the pandora would not work on it. But in your case you probably updated so just make sure your psp didnt come with 4.xx out of the box and you would be fine. If you dont know what firmware it came with check this link to see if it is hackable http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-mis...-hackable.html

Thx for the quick answer. I did check the thread about the correct motherboard already. And I think it should be a hackable PSP. The only problem is that the former owner updated it to 5.03. That's why I asked.
