    My psp is semi-bricked and running 5.00 m33-6. i installed Hellcat's recovery flasher but i have no 3.xx kernel to put it in. from what others say that is what i have to do .

    You dont need any kernel.


    Download this:

    Copy it to psp/game.
    Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
    Now go to recovery menu.
    Select run program at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp

    Now err... see that the target is 5.00
    and then select install m33 cfw.
    Thats it. done!!

    i have tried to put the folder named "RECOVERY" in all my game folders (5.00, 380, 150,and game) and it doesnt work still.

    it doesnt give one. i click on "RUN PROGRAM AT PSP/GAME/RECOVERY" and it acts like itll boot but the screen goes blank but is still lit up. bout 20 secs later it shuts off

    i did. ive tried everywhere. theyve all either been corrupt or they didnt work at all. can you tell me a link that actually works?

    you have to run them from the recovery menu!

    i did. i followed the instructions. "place RECOVERY folder in ms0:/PSP/GAME/" so i got ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY and i placed an original 3.71 update and a 5.00 m33-6 update both in the root and RECOVERY folder. when i run it the screen goes blank and then the psp shuts off after about 20 seconds.
