you have a full brick you will need a pandoras battery and magic memory stick

After reading your other thread... Did you make a pandoras battery to change your firmware? You can't use a pandoras battery to actually boot your psp normally... Try taking the battery out and using just the a/c adapter?

If it still won't turn on, I can't help you because I have no practical experience, I just know what I've read. (And that can't always be trusted!)

Maybe your backlight is burned out or turned off? Does it make sounds like it's booting up? Press buttons, do you hear clicking like you're playing around in the main menu screen?

And of course maybe... no... probably, as others said it's bricked and you need to get ahold of a jigkick battery & magic memory stick. (Pandora's battery.)

Good luck and keep us updated!

(ps I think for a thread like this you'd want to put it in the hardware forum or somewhere like that. this forum is just for introductions. )

Hi I've run into the same problem. I downgraded this guy's psp(1000;pandora+mms) and it won't turn on. Are there possible missing prx that need to be replaced? The psp doesn't respond when power cord is attached.

He did try and convert his charger into usb power but I think he didn't bust a fuse as I was able to downgrade it afterwards. I hit a few bumps while trying to downgrade before I was able to find a simple tutorial.

Did I somehow brick his psp?
I won't be able to give instant replies just yet,I will try using the pandora+mms next time he's available
