Hey! I just got my hybrid pandora battery yesterday and have flashed CFW on my baby. I'm so happy with it.
I've been surfing the net for useful apps and mods but I came across a problem. There aren't tutorials explaining the various psp directories. Like what is a "VSH" menu and a "flash0, flash1, flash2 and flash3". I'd appriciate if someone could tell me the ins and outs of the "new" psp. Terminolgy would also be great as well as what the various psp file extensions mean and how to install them and where, e.g. ".prx" and ".RCO".

    I have the DarkAlex 5.00 M33-6 FW.

I'd appriciate the help to get started on my modding

    VSH Menu

    • flash0 -(Contains all the firmware files)
    • flash1 -(Used to the store XMB settings)
    • flash2 -In firmwares 3.00 and up, this contains the half of the DRM for Sony's official PS1 emulator(the other half being in the flash0
    • flash3 -Currently unused and about 1mb in size although in custom firmwares it can be used along with flash2 to redirect firmware elements such as fonts.
RCO:The PSP's flash contains numerous RCO files (localized resources)
in the flash0:/vsh/resource folder. These files contain various
things such as icons, sounds, text and so on, which the PSP uses to
    display the XMB interface.

As long as you back up F0 you should be fine..and having a Pandora always helps too.
