Hi guys, I am a newbie,

I got a Sony PSP battery: 3.6V 1200mah for my psp-2001, MODEL PSP-S110. Its made in Japan.

I opened the battery and the board is golden and it sits on top of the battery itself and covers only 25% of the upper right portion of the battery.

I have tried looking at all tutorials for making a pandora battery and I can't find one which looks anything like this.

Can anyone tell me if I can hack this one? and if so how?

    Thanks!

    Thanks Tony,

The original battery that came with my PSP was hackable and I was able to hack it.

For guys who read this post in future. If your battery has this number written below 'Made in Japan' written behind your battery, then you CAN hack your battery for sure! Its written in the bottom right corner, behind your battery.

    The number is: LPS 3-198-156-01

Also, the version of my PSP which I was able to hack is 2001

The battery which I was not able to get any information on has the number: 3-198-155-01 written behind it. (and it does not have LPS written in front of the number and has the digit '5' instead of 6 in the number)

Once again Thanks to pspmod.com and the people here, I found a lot of useful information here.
