First of all I'd like to say thanks to for having me. I may lurk alittle bit as thats what I do .

I have learned a lot so far by lurking . I learned that I made a huge mistake when I bought a brand new psp 3000 as it is unmodable. I will say the screen is so beautiful it brings a tear to my eye. After much searching, I Found a psp1000.
I took a big chance and decided to buy it. 60 bucks isn't half bad for a already modded psp.
Ive modded my iphone and And google g1 so I do have some sorta experience. I do look forward to learning more.

I've bought 3 unmodded 1000s for 60. Two of them
were bricked. The owner of the third was just stupid.

How on earth do you brick a 1000. I have a habit of reading things 3 and 4 and 10 times before I try them.

Sometimes shit happens. Like the one I've had for a year now bricked itself twice while I was playing games. It froze so I yanked the battery because the power switch didn't work. I tried to power it back on but it bricked itself. I suspect a bad NAND, which can be fixed with some homebrew. Reflashing the firmware works but it'll eventually brick itself again. I've only come across one other person with this problem.
