New user to this moding thing and playing games off of memory stick instead of using the UMD.

I'm sure I'll learn a lot of good things from you folks out here and I'll make sure I will be educated from all of y'all.

    Thank you all in advance,

    Sincerely,

Welcome, and enjoy playing YOUR OWN games that you backed up off the memory stick. Because, anything else would be blasphemy!

Oh and in case you haven't, check out the rules, the PM you got, and the sticky in the beginner section about the rules.

Hmmm.... can you copy the .iso directly from the UMD disk by setting USB mode to UMD?
    Make a 5.50 GEN-D3 Magic Memory Stick

    My firmware journey

    3.80 m33-5 > 4.01 m33-4 > 5.00 m33-4 > 5.00 m33-6 > 5.50 Gen A > 5.50 Gen B > 5.50 GEN B-2 > 5.00 GEN D > 5.50 GEN D-2 > 5.50 GEN D-3 > 5.00 m33-6

Sorry Gen lovers, going back to m33

    such a long journey....

Or if you have a giant memory stick, you can use UMD Dumper. Its faster than ripping it then transferring, plus this way you can play a cool brickbreaker game while you wait.
