what was it on prior to 5.55, were you ever on cfw before???

we can help, but something doesn't seem right that you have iso/cso's somehow...just curious on that, then we'll help you no problem, we need more info.

no i dont have iso/cso since then, there is no cfw since then. sorry but i don't know the ofw prior to 5.55. this is my brother's psp. the 5.55ofw came from the umd(smackdown vs raw 2009) which insisted him to update the firmware to play the umd.

    ok...then

your psp should be hackable...do you have a pandora battery handy??

if so, next question...do have a memory card that's at least 512mb or bigger?? anything less won't work for a magic memory card.

if you have all that, click on my Gen guide which is the 2nd link i have in my signature...follow the "MMS creation/operations" and you'll be running cfw in 2mins times.

    any problems, post back up

ok, then you have to get a pandora...you can make the mms, but you'll physically need to get a hold of a pandora...

try dealextreme.com, they ship for free, costs 6$

no problem...can you just post up what exactly it says on your battery?? there's 2 types of batteries, so there's 2 types of ways to do it...

yeah you can do that too...sometimes it's not there though, should have a # and a letter, like 8B, 7A...etc.

like i said, sometimes not present...

here's the guide for slim battery hard mods, but i must say that i really, really don't recommend it but that's on you. i'd order 1 but if it works, it's awesome, if it messes up or gets damaged you'll have to get a new battery. with that said:

this is by using a switch though:

here's a video too of just making a pandora only:
