Since i cant post in any usefull forum since i just signed up i am going to have to ask it here.

I am running a PSP phat with 5.00 M33-4 and i cant seem to get NES SNES or GEN to run on my psp. I have tried several different guides as well as youtube videos with the end result telling me the game can not be run.

might as well update the cfw to at least 5.00m33-6. consider perhaps upgrading cfw to 5.50GEN-D3. the question there will be what is the difference (what are the implications) of running 5.00m33-6 or 5.50GEN-D3.

whatever your personal preference as far as cfw upgrade.

as for the emu issues, OP will have to be more articulate.

get the latest emu, read the read-me files (or see what the downloaded app's folder structure is), place the ROMs in its appropriate location, place the emu in its appropriate location on memstick (typically its ms0:/PSP/GAME folder). some emus require BIOS files, etc. but basically, it should be that straightforward to install and run emu on the PSP.

make sure your downloads are not corrupted... what else is there to it?
