Hi, i think i was registered her a long time ago, but things have changed so much since then.

Basically i'd just like to know what has gone on since i last checked all this stuff.

I have a 2.01 and GTA:LCS, and the last time i was here i could use the eloader on GTA to play a few roms, snes etc. but it was very temperamental, and didnt load 100%.

I just wanted to know how things have moved on, what can i do now in terms of eboots and stuff.? Can i do it without GTA now?

Also is there now a reliable eboot? Finally, is there a SNES emulator that runs smoothly, and is there a Genesis emulator that runs with sound?

I had a look around the forum but theres a million and one threads and i just didnt know what was most up to date.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

    Peace

    Simon

    Welcome to the forum...
Here is a link that will help you determine if you have the cursed TA-082.
Enjoy, and let us know if you need help. I suggest you update to 2.5, downgrade to 1.5, and then get Devhook up and running
    Before you post please

Ok thanks to you both, i just checked my PSP and thankfully there is only the writing on the left, not the right, so i'm ok.

Erm, so, what can i do with a 1.5 again? Can i still play GTA:LCS?

Sorry for all the noobish q's, i used to come here daily and kept up to date with things but i just stopped for some reason.

Thanks for your help and patience.

ok so ive had a good look around, and i'm pretty sure i can do the downgrade.

I have IC8001 written on the left (upside down), and nothing on the right, which means im ok doesn't it?

One thing i can't find on my search, how can i upgrade from 2.01 to 2.5 so i can then downgrade to 1.50? the one on sonys site is only the newest 2.8.

    Thanks again.

Yeah i was going to try that but i was a little weary of getting one of a random site and it being a dodgy version that could brick my system or something.

Any ideas of somewhere i can trust?

    Thanks
