    Hi everyone,

After a short look it appears this is one of the best if not the best psp mod sites..... I've been looking through the guides and sections I should look at and it's all very confusing.

I have ordered a PSP 2000 and I'm excited at the idea of tinkering with it, learning a new hobby I guess and just having some fun!!!!

Sadly I do not even know what mobo my PSP has...... see I know the lingo lol.

Even more sad I don't have a clue why a pandora battery is a good thing !!!!

I'm looking forward to trying some things out and it's good knowing where to ask questions when I get stuck, the trick is trying to make the questions sound intelligent lol.

    Hi dankgame,

I have no idea what ofw the psp 2000 will have but as soon as I recieve it I will check and find out !

I think I was lucky finding a place that sells psp2000's new as most places only have the newer psp3000.

I've brought some second hand games and bits already:

    WipEout Pure
    Burnout Legends
    Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
    Beaterator (new)
SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo -2GB (new)
    Hand case for psp2000 (new)

Any ideas of other bits I might need / be useful????

    Thanks

If the 2000 you bought is silver, white or red then its fully hackable. If its black or blue, 50% chance its fully hackable.

if the ofw is 3.73 (i am not so familiar with this particular FW - but its an old one), then its fully hackable. the slims that came with OFW4.01 were the mixtures including ta-088v3 and fully hackables. so, fingers x'ed.

If you've updated your firmware, or don't remember what it came with check the link in my sig (how to check if your PSP is hackable) and check your sticker code. Black 2000s were split, some were made before Sony instituted the unhackable TA-88v3.

Thanks MZ for a sleek sig!
