I installed Ubuntu 9.04 a few months ago and was enjoying it until I installed a wifi card. The graphics were bhaving normally before (it had the proper resolution and everything) but after I physically put the wifi card in, and turned the PC on, it wil only operate in 800 X 600, and it doesn't recognize the graphics card. The graphics card is a 'rage 128 pro ultra gl' [ATI], and the wifi card is a 'Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter' [The brand-name is EDUP] according to device manager. The wifi card isn't working with linux right now either [with Ubuntu], but I am not concerned with that problem at the moment. What could I do to show Ubuntu how to again properly recognize the graphics card?
BTW, I have a Ubuntu/XP dual boot, I am typing this from XP (obviously)
