Many people are confused about how to put PDF/MS office document on iPhone. In fact, it is so easy, as long as you get an email account. Email the files as attachment on your computer to your email account and retrieve it on iPhone, and you can see it anywhere.

Apple will release a firmware update to continue to "lock" iPhone, including those unlocked ones. And it will disable all third party applications that have already been installed onto iPhone, the widespread iPhone unlocking tools in use, and even the Jailbreak software, a must while installing third party applications.

I recently blew up a hard drive and lost all my music. I've got it all on my iPhone and am looking for a way to transfer files from the iPhone to the PC for free. I've searched around and have only found tools that cost 20-30 bucks to iPod to PC.

Does anyone one know of a free iphone to pc program? Thanks!

jailbreak your iphone and then SSH over the music back to your computer. All the .mp3 files will be in a weird labeling format ah45.mp3, jk6.mp3, etc.; however once you add them back to your itunes library it sorts them all out and labels them with the original tags.

Ok i followed a guide i got with the program ipod touch video converter, so i copied my dvd as an IFO file, (which it said to do) to my PC.

When the program converted it for my ipod touch (.mp4), i tried to open the Video in iTunes but it just wont load, iTunes doesnt even respond..
I was really hoping to sync this with my iTouch.
anyone any suggestions?

BTW ( ill try your guide, im just curious why iTunes wont load the Video)

I'm not sure about the software you are using. I recommend handbrake since it plays nice with apple software and has a pre-set for iphone/touch.

iPhone Software Update 1.1.3 is available via iTunes 7.5 or later. After installing the update, iPhone customers will be able to automatically find their location using the redesigned Maps application; text message multiple people in one message; create Web Clips for their favorite websites; customize their home screen; and watch movies rented from the new iTunes Movie Rentals right on their iPhone.

Why would anyone upgrade to it? it cant be Jailbroken just now so all of the neat apps we have just now wont be able to run, all just for a new maps feature etc...

I think ill stay on 1.1.2 Jailbroken

I agree that jailbroken is better. That and 1.1.3 has just been jailbroken and more info is to be released alongside the SDK in febuary; that is if someone from the DEV team does not leak it onto the torrent scene first.

Word is that Flash support is on its way to the iPhone and it should be coming very, very soon.
And by then, YouTube won’t have had to convert a bunch of their catalog to H.264 in order for the service to be enjoyed on the iPhone.

Now you can send Word and PDF docs to an iPod touch or iPhone.
One of the more useful Mac OS X utilities for interacting with the iPhone, iPhoneDrive, has been renamed “MegaPhone” and now includes the ability to send text files, PDFs, or Word files to the iPhone Notes application for reading and editing directly on the devices.

@Urineanus: According to the rumor mill, we're looking @ a Feb. 26th release for the iPhone / iPod touch SDK. Possibly a new Macbook Pro too I have yet to jailbreak my iPod touch. Last I read, jailbreaking 1.1.3 caused issues with the location feature in Google Maps, and there is obviously no word on how this will affect third party apps (as they will need to be transferred from iTunes just like the software update for the touch). Also, the team that was updating the installer.app repo is now working with Apple. According to what I've read, they have stopped updating it due to "legality reasons".

I personally dont like 1.1.3 jailbroken. The only good thing about it was that it could be upgraded and jailbroken from the installer.app. 1.1.2 is way better when its jailbroken.
When i was on 1.1.3 Used WINSCP to transfer my theme to Summerboard and when i turend my itouch back on, all my music, videos, photos etc... were gone
1.1.3 is good for the wiggly icons though! lol
