SNES and NES Emulators for Iphone + Touch

Here is an easy guide to getting SNES and NES emulators onto your Iphone and/or Ipod Touch. This is A LOT easier than using SFTP or any of that jazz...

Just to clarify, I do NOT accept any responsibility for broken Touches or Phones.

(However, i have never heard of a case of this braking either)

NES Roms

Firstly, you must have a jailbroken Touch/Phone. If you do not, iPod Touch Hacks - Awesome Site! is your friend. Also, you need the NES app which can be found in the Games section of Installer.

Right, go into installer and then at the bottom there is Sources. go into this and at the top there is edit. Tap this, then tap Add (in the top left). After the http://, type in s.apfelphone.net just like that.

Then, you should have in the install page, 2 folders after All Packages and Recent Packages called Apfelphone.net Fun and Apfelphone.net Tools. Go into Apfelphone.net Fun and download either NES roms pack FW 1.0.2/1.1.1/1.1.2 or NES Roms pack FW 1.1.3/1.1.4 depending on what FW you have.

These will now appear in your NES emulator. Enjoy!

SNES Roms

Regarding that you have just added s.apfelphone.net to your sources, go into Installer, then Install, then Games. In that folder there will be a SNES emulator app. Download this, then go to all packages and to SNES Roms. Download this package (it should be quite large, like 21mb) and quit installer. You should now have a working SNES Emulator...

uhm, your missing the fact that to save games on 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 both of these emus need to have the permissions set to 777 on all files and all games associated with the apps.
